The following problems were identified at
the Holocaust & Genocide Studies
Webster University

After reviewing the information at your esteemed site, I find the following:

1. Currently, under the link, http://www.webster.edu/~woolflm/holocaust.html, your site does not list anything under Bangladesh (former East Pakistan).

SUGGESTION: You can consider adding a separate entry "Bangladesh (former East Pakistan)" and then list "Genocide 1971 in
Bangladesh (former East Pakistan)".

2. There are now a number of sites that deal with this genocide. The one I have developed provides updated information based on the works of reputed genocide scholars and organizations.

SUGGESTION: You may provide a link to Genocide 1971 in Bangladesh (former East Pakistan) http://www.globalwebpost.com/genocide1971.

3. This genocide, as attested by various genocide scholars, including Dr. Adam Jones of Gendercide Watch, is one of the worst. At least mentioning it in appropriate contexts can help inform people better about this.

a. On the same page at your site, the introductory sentence reads: "We live in a time of unparalleled instances of democide, genocide and ethnocide. The Holocaust, the genocides in Turkey, Cambodia, Tibet, & Bosnia, the disappearances in Argentina & Chile, the death squad killings in El Salvador, Stalin's purges, the killing of the Tutsi in Rwanda . . . . and the list goes on."

SUGGESTION: You can consider mentioning about the genocide in Bangladesh (former East Pakistan) here.

b. SUGGESTION: You may also consider adding the name Bangladesh (former East Pakistan) in the following sentence: "Click Here for Holocaust and Genocide Studies Recommended Readings concerning Genocide & Democide; The Holocaust; the Armenian genocide; Bosnia-Herzegovina; Burma; Cambodia; East Timor; Rwanda & Burundi; and other texts related to Holocaust and Genocide Studies"

c. SUGGESTION: On the page http://www.webster.edu/~woolflm/readings.html, you can add a separate heading for "Bangladesh (former East Pakistan), and begin with the link to Genocide/1971 site I have provided above.

 4. There are two entries in http://www.webster.edu/~woolflm/holocaust.html under "Hindu Genocide in Bangladesh." Actually, there has not been any such separate genocide. Those who mention about Hindu Genocide in 1971 also often claim that there were 3 million Hindus killed in 1971, which basically means that ALL the victims were Hindus. Yes, there were targeted killings of Hindus in 1971, but the overwhelming majority of the victims were Muslims. Unfortunately, due to worsened relationship between India and Bangladesh in post-1971 era, there has been some extremist effort to disseminate misinformation about this genocide, which is already among the least reported. One of the sources that is propagating about this Hindu Genocide is Hinduunity.org. Just one visit to the site will give someone a good understanding of this major Hindu site, representing the extemist fundamentalist forces that are now at the helm of India. It is also a failure of Bangladeshis to adequately and accurately inform the world about this terrible tragedy. I have described this misinformation problem at http://www.globalwebpost.com/genocide1971/info/info_misinfo.htm. Works of any reputed genocide scholars would confirm my observation here.

For examples:

SUGGESTION: You should consider deleting those entries.
